Getting started

1. Install the app

Install Softside Connect on your store. Shopify asks you to approve the permissions the app needs to read products and orders, and to create products for you.

2. Check the connection

Open Settings and use Test connection. It lists the merch approved for your Softside account. If the list is empty, the link works but nothing has been approved yet.

3. Sync your first product

Open Sync, pick an item and sync it. The product appears in your store with its variants, prices and images. Nothing is copied by hand.

4. Or link a product you already sell

Already selling that item? Link it instead. The Softside item attaches to your existing product, so orders route for fulfilment while your history and reviews stay put.

5. Publish and sell

Add the product to your sales channels as you would with any other product, then set it live.

6. Watch the first order

When an order is paid, the app forwards it to Softside for fulfilment. Open Orders in the app to see what was sent. Fulfilment and tracking come back to the order in your Shopify admin.
